SAM SAND DUNES

Zanskar Valley is located in the remote corner of Ladakh and on the eastern corner of J&K state. The valley is separated from Ladakh by Zanskar mountain range. Also known as one of the least known Buddhist kingdoms of the western Himalayan valley. It is a hotspot for trekking, paragliding and water rafting. The temperature in Zanskar is cold around minus 300C during winter. While it remains pleasant during the day in summer. The best time to visit zanaskar is between June and September.
Dudh Sagar Water Fall
The term Dudh Sagar in literal terms means the Sea of Milk. The Dudhsagar Waterfalls is the fourth largest waterfall in India, at a height of 320 metres or 1017 feet. The Dudhsagar Waterfall is a four-tiered waterfall situated right on the Goa-Karnataka border, closer to Goa. Its sight is so mesmerizing, as you see the milky vapours rise from the falls. The entire phenomenon is usually described as clouds falling from the heavens, descending directly onto the earth. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery that provides an additional aesthetic appeal to the location. The best period to visit the fall is between October to March.
Backwaters in Allepy
Alappuzha, also known as Alleppey, is one of the most visited backwaters destinations in Kerala. Popularly referred as the ‘Venice of the East’. Backwaters have a unique ecosystem: freshwater from the rivers meets the seawater from the Arabian Sea. Many unique species of aquatic life including crabs, frogs, mudskippers, water birds such as terns, kingfishers, darters, cormorants and animals such as otters and turtles live in and alongside the backwaters. Palm trees, pandanus shrubs, various leafy plants, and bushes grow alongside the backwaters, provides a green hue to the surrounding landscape. Travelling on a luxurious houseboat on the serene backwaters of Alappuzha is truly a wonderful experience. The lush green landscape, diverse wildlife, houses and villages that line the backwaters make a journey along these waterways seem like a journey through another world. No wonder the backwaters is one of the must-visit tourist places in Kerala.
